After 7 minutes, Tiago Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monumento Sports and the MINEIROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Luz. After 8 played minutes, MINEIROS's João Vítor Linhares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moisés Antunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MINEIROS reached it. Christian Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Antunes having to interfere. Paulo Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Claudinho Alves hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's Toninho Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 21 minutes on the clock, Mathias Seco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 25 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Salles. After having played for 26 minutes, Joel Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MINEIROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Alves. After 31 minutes of play, MINEIROS's Benê Amorim made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Joel Quadros sped through Monumento Sports's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moisés Antunes. With a little luck, Monumento Sports's Moisés Antunes got control of the ball when Benê Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moisés Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toninho Goiano's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Monumento Sports's zone, Toninho Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Antunes came out of the goal and Toninho Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Amorim came free, but Moisés Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Toninho Goiano made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, MINEIROS's Benê Amorim made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Goiano came free, but Moisés Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monumento Sports's Moisés Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Amorim in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. MINEIROS's Maicon Quintal was substituted for Joel Quadros. After 62 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by William Guerreiro. Hugo Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Monteiro. After a defensive mix-up in Monumento Sports's zone, João Vítor Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Antunes came out of the goal and João Vítor Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Toninho Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. MINEIROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute of the match João Vítor Linhares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés Antunes skillfully saved the ball. If Vágner Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Goiano came free, but Moisés Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benê Amorim scored 5-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toninho Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Moisés Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Maicon Quintal made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Monumento Sports's Moisés Antunes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If João Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
