Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reynaldo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Wright in the 22nd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Anders Westerstrand made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Velasco. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
