Nelson Wright could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Aaron Karlstedt made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Anders Westerstrand fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aaron Karlstedt, passed just outside the right post. 27 minutes into the match, The Obscurials's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Luzea came free, but Safet Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Aaron Karlstedt got control of the ball when Adriano Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgílio Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Adriano Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Karlstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Nelson Wright recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aaron Karlstedt. Nelson Wright showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Anders Westerstrand hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Luzea. Gaston Beltza hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Cliff Rowden came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the The Obscurials fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cliff Rowden couldn't finish the play. The Obscurials were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cliff Rowden took the corner. In the 63rd match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Beltza to maneuver through the defense. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Erruki in the 69th minute of play. Safet Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Karlstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Anders Westerstrand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Karlstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Sabastian Norman might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Karlstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabastian Norman ran back to his position shaking his head. Safet Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Luzea in the 95th minute. Aaron Karlstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Obscurials's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
