An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Netto in the 20th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Jonathan Joestar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Jonathan Joestar threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Josué Viana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26th minute Josué Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Joestar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vito Simão hit a great ball. If Válbson Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. Blas Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Velasco having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Ceferino Maidana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Maurício Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's protests and gave Maurício Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Maurício Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Reynaldo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Estevez in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Etxahun was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Estevez came free, but Reynaldo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Estevez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 60th playminute. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. After a rather tough play, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Ruy Melo got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's zone, Filomeno Bastiaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Velasco came out of the goal and Filomeno Bastiaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by John Gallin. A collision led to E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vito Simão hit a great ball. Jonathan Joestar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Mello in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Mello in the 83rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Jonathan Joestar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Joestar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Mello came free, but Jonathan Joestar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Modestio's late challenge caught a E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Joestar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Netto in the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Formentera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Júlio Netto was slow to take the kick. During this time E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's players had a chance to rest. The E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Formentera to win.
