Derman Soysaldı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the FC Bal op het Dak defense, Matteo Mata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Bomba. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Bomba should have stopped the shot. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corné van Basten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derman Soysaldı came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman. But to his dismay, Dan Kjellman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Derman Soysaldı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Kjellman in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Derman Soysaldı saved ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► from getting behind. Maurício Bomba made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Matteo Mata sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Caroll Baskin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Mata came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Martijn August came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the FC Bal op het Dak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martijn August couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 58 minutes of play, FC Bal op het Dak's Dan Kjellman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 81st minute Dan Kjellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Soysaldı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
