Wambalamba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Calvino hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Almeyra F.C.'s Hugo Lucero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toninho Moura. That made the score 1-1 after 29 minutes of play. Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Diniz in the 32nd minute of play. Dário Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hugo Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wambalamba FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Nuxila was a little too slow when Murilo Soares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-2. 55 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Maurino came free, but Toninho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Diniz in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Jacindo. 66 minutes into the game, Almeyra F.C.'s Uriel Maurino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Lucero in the 71st minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Toninho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Calvino in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Constantino Jacindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toninho Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.
