Simão Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Maciel in the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Serbia y Mantonegro got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Abancens. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when Serbia y Mantonegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Tomás Oinaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serbia y Mantonegro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Wanderson Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Ciano. Serbia y Mantonegro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Pedro Luís Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Simão Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umbrella Corporation's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Ciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mané Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Simão Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Roberto Ciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Lastur to strike the kick off in the second half. Wanderson Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Ciano having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Serbia y Mantonegro's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Albuquerque came free, but Roberto Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Maciel went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Serbia y Mantonegro's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Maciel came free, but Roberto Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Umbrella Corporation's Mané Albuquerque got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Simão Maciel fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umbrella Corporation's protests and gave Simão Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Simão Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luís Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Rameriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luís Tande came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Serbia y Mantonegro's Higinio Rameriz. But to his dismay, Higinio Rameriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Umbrella Corporation players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Serbia y Mantonegro.
