Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Boeru in the 4th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Olsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Popilean in the 5th minute of play. The Granicerul fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Granicerul's Gigel Boeru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Brăescu in the 10th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Olsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Popilean in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Håkansson in the 13th minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Grigore Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Iordache Ioneasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Olsen. Haymakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordache Ioneasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Grigore Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víkingur Bastarda in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Iordache Ioneasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granicerul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Víkingur Bastarda was slow to take the kick. During this time Haymakers FC's players had a chance to rest. Haymakers FC's Víkingur Bastarda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Grigore Rânceanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jim Håkansson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Grigore Rânceanu. Robin Olsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Brăescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Boeru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Olsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Brăescu in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Popilean came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Boeru in the 38th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Söderqvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Haymakers FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Granicerul:s goal. In the 42nd minute, Sydney Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granicerul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Granicerul's Grigore Rânceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Granicerul from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granicerul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Víkingur Bastarda was slow to take the kick. During this time Haymakers FC's players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Josefsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tommy Josefsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigore Rânceanu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Jim Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Jim Håkansson. Granicerul's Gigel Boeru got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Víkingur Bastarda came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Haymakers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víkingur Bastarda couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Granicerul booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Mogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Nastac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Olsen having to interfere. Sven-Olof Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Víkingur Bastarda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Grigore Rânceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Olsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Boeru in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Cornel Nastac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Costin Vulpe. Granicerul's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
