Paredes Malvido was slow to take the kick. During this time La Società Sport Osasco's players had a chance to rest. 22 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Håkansson came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haymakers FC's Nils Cane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Lewandowski in the 23rd minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. CJ Lewandowski was the one to do the kick off. Gilvan Maranhense might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Cane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Cane came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Società Sport Osasco's Chen Jian. But to his dismay, Chen Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nils Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Kjellbom. Haymakers FC's Nils Cane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Maranhense in the 88th minute of play. Nils Cane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Maranhense in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Haymakers FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lennart Kjellbom hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Società Sport Osasco fans cheered their team off the field, for while Haymakers FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
