The audience was convinced that Herbert Henskens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bayan Gugovski was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Herbert Henskens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayan Gugovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Merengue FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Herbert Henskens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bayan Gugovski. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 18 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Herbert Henskens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayan Gugovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Herbert Henskens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Henskens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Gugovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darwin Núñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Loi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Henskens in the 35th minute of play. Herbert Henskens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bayan Gugovski having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Henskens in the 36th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Henskens, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Urtsin came free, but Erasmo Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Urtsin to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Leandro Hanot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Henskens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bayan Gugovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Fernando Gamus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bayan Gugovski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 67 played minutes Apocalípticos & Caóticos got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Hechter. In the 68th minute Ediberto Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediberto Sampaio in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erasmo Loi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bayan Gugovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Gamus's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 72 minutes, Fernando Gamus made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Mota in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Henskens in the 79th minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Bayan Gugovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ediberto Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Erasmo Loi made a huge save. After some careless play in the Merengue FC defense, Fernando Gamus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayan Gugovski. The Merengue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayan Gugovski should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Apocalípticos & Caóticos had won after a very even match.
