Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Gizon in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorel Lupșe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Cârstea in the 12th minute of the match. Dorel Lupșe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Gizon in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Alberda in the 20th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Cârstea in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Sabin Cârstea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Alberda took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Cucao. Guaberto Cucao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Oliver Alberda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guaberto Cucao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Sabin Cârstea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granicerul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Sydney Pombal's late challenge caught a Mainumby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sydney Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Pombal to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Adan Gonza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorel Lupșe. That made the score 1-3 in the 44 minute of play. Granicerul's Dorel Lupșe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Serafo in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Nunez Gizon made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Oliver Alberda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granicerul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mainumby the free kick. The supporters of Mainumby booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Alberda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Oliver Alberda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorel Lupșe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Alex Hoduț. Dorel Lupșe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Gonza in the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Lázaro Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mainumby's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Chap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Lupșe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Sabin Cârstea got a free kick in the 67th minute. Mainumby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Oliver Alberda scored to the left of an out of position Guaberto Cucao, making the score, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Antoniu got free with Guaberto Cucao in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Granicerul's Guaberto Cucao threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oliver Alberda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 75 in the game by Sabin Cârstea from a close distance when the talented Guaberto Cucao managed to make a qualified save. Mainumby's players were relieved. Guaberto Cucao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sabin Cârstea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 79 minute of play. Granicerul's Sabin Cârstea was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Poplăcean, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute of the match, Oliver Alberda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guaberto Cucao saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
