Ricart Lauwerens's late challenge caught a Altermundi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricart Lauwerens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute Agustín Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Chaparro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rollo Duguid made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Rexino Valle sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Justo Gaviño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SICARIOS Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Guillermo Chaparro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Palacios, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Aldo Pomar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Guillermo Chaparro. Guillermo Chaparro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SICARIOS Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ricart Lauwerens hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Rexino Valle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rollo Duguid. Rexino Valle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 46 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tassara. 47 minutes into the match, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's César Pascual broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rexino Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Justo Gaviño got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Rollo Duguid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Martín Coulin in the 56th minute of the match. Pedro Alcázar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Guillermo Chaparro made a huge save. César Pascual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rollo Duguid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricart Lauwerens in the 74th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Rollo Duguid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Francisco Martín Coulin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rollo Duguid made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rexino Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 85th play minutes Rexino Valle shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Rollo Duguid and just under the crossbar into goal. After 88 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Boonen. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Agustín Palacios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altermundi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Palacios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Chaparro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Liberto Chalco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altermundi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SICARIOS Fútbol Club the free kick. Liberto Chalco hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Altermundi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SICARIOS Fútbol Club.
