The supporters of City Friseur Wuppertal booed when Jacksonville 67 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyson Tyson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xu Yi Lei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xu Yi Lei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes Jacksonville 67 got a freekick which was hit by Igor Pankiewicz. With his leg Rogelio Hanni managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when City Friseur Wuppertal's Waldemar Ryback fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. King Batistuta scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xu Yi Lei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute King Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Yi Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Waldemar Ryback recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rogelio Hanni. Waldemar Ryback showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 24 minutes of play, City Friseur Wuppertal's Avram Stegaru made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Hanni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Igor Pankiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Ryback fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Hanni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burak Öz in the 35th minute of play forced City Friseur Wuppertal's goalkeeper Xu Yi Lei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacksonville 67's Rogelio Hanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Jacksonville 67 from getting a goal against them. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burak Öz in the 37th minute of play. Xu Yi Lei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burak Öz went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Oscar Cruz's late challenge caught a City Friseur Wuppertal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Oscar Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Hanni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Ryback in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei got control of the ball when King Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Avram Stegaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The City Friseur Wuppertal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Rogelio Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Stegaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute, Steven van Gessel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. City Friseur Wuppertal's Nebi Tokyürek was substituted for Avram Stegaru. Sven Horring made a great header on Jacksonville 67's corner, it was just that City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 92nd minute Waldemar Ryback shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match Jacksonville 67 got a corner. City Friseur Wuppertal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven Horring ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sven Horring made a great header on Jacksonville 67's corner, it was just that City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei managed to reach the ball for a save. 98 minutes into the match, Jacksonville 67's goal looked a bit too open when Cem Yılğıralp came free, but Rogelio Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jacksonville 67 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for City Friseur Wuppertal.
