After a rather tough play, KS LEW Chorzów's Edgar Degas got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute, Witalis Tamulewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hahay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Witalis Tamulewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Oliszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Herbert Oliszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Videl Pando, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Soroka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hahay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS LEW Chorzów the free kick. After 16 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Soroka. 19 minutes into the match, Hahay's goalkeeper Espen Granerud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Campana. In the 21st minute Witalis Tamulewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Degas during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edgar Degas hit a great ball. Videl Pando took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Oliszewski. The wind increased when Witalis Tamulewicz made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Tamulewicz in the 51st minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KS LEW Chorzów's zone, Witalis Tamulewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Oliszewski came out of the goal and Witalis Tamulewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herbert Oliszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Tamulewicz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 61 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Degas. Leo Campana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Espen Granerud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Witalis Tamulewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espen Granerud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Degas in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Espen Granerud saved Hahay from getting behind. Herbert Oliszewski made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Konrad Huk sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hahay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
