The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baleren Ocaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Odilon, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.F Intercity's zone, Samuel Aballe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baleren Ocaña came out of the goal and Samuel Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baleren Ocaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11thth minute of the game Rosendo Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.F Intercity's Baleren Ocaña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes C.F Intercity got a freekick which was hit by Xano Belalcaraz. Baleren Ocaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Baleren Ocaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to C.F Intercity getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Roy Kent hit a great ball. With a little luck, Fortinducto's Ceferino Adrio got control of the ball when Matt Le Tissier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jon-Andoni Goicoechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Adrio having to interfere. Baleren Ocaña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Baleren Ocaña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Santos went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Xano Belalcaraz made the kick off in the second half. The C.F Intercity fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when C.F Intercity's Xano Belalcaraz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the match, Xano Belalcaraz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fortinducto's Ceferino Adrio. Ceferino Adrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ceferino Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt Le Tissier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fortinducto getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bernardino Tercero hit a great ball. The supporters of Fortinducto booed when C.F Intercity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goal looked a bit too open when Xano Belalcaraz came free, but Ceferino Adrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Samuel Aballe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baleren Ocaña. Samuel Aballe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Le Tissier came free, but Ceferino Adrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goal looked a bit too open when Xano Belalcaraz came free, but Ceferino Adrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
