With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atila Edu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Atila Edu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Walter Pico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atila Edu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walter Pico in the 22nd minute. Riquelme Fútbol Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Artal Burualla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Atila Edu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan-Sebastián Mastropiero kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jeronimo Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Orlanda in the 31st minute of play. Jeronimo Lizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Suarez's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the game, Eduardo Salvi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Artal Burualla made the kick off in the second half.
