In the 11th minute Bruno Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when William Guerreiro put in a rough tackle. William Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Toninho Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Godoi was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toninho Goiano made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Amorim came free, but David Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Internazionale-RS's David Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Quadros in the 52nd minute of play. MINEIROS's Serginho Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save MINEIROS from getting a goal against them. In the 85thth minute of the game Toninho Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Internazionale-RS's David Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nico de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho de Amaral. If Benê Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luís Fernando Paes sent off a good shot on target. David Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, MINEIROS's Toninho Goiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MINEIROS had won after a very even match.
