Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Millano Almandoz in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Peng Yu Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peng Yu Jian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Consejo del Mate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cayetano Sagrario in the 22nd minute. Consejo del Mate's Cayetano Sagrario was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dráuzio Mattos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peng Yu Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Millano Almandoz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes of play, Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráuzio Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 minutes, Peng Yu Jian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosqueteiros 4EVER and the Consejo del Mate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when Mosqueteiros 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peng Yu Jian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Tino hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Cayetano Sagrario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráuzio Mattos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Fagildo Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Millano Almandoz made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Peng Yu Jian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fagildo Pamanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
