Silvano Ihazintu's late challenge caught a Deportivo Popolizio FBC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Ihazintu helped the player get up and apologised. Lin Yan Hong was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cris Ronaldo. 46 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Tipi came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
