Fred Åkerström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Roland having to make a save. In the 18th minute Fred Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meder Muños in the 19th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Roland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Åkerström went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meder Muños, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With an all-out effort, Intimos de Reynoso's Zé Roberto Teixeira threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Meder Muños, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Meder Muños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meder Muños in the 32nd minute of play. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Fred Åkerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ovidio Roland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gamus Rocha in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Roland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Playa Malvín were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 87th minute, Erez Marica made a precise shot to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira. Playa Malvín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Erez Marica scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Teixeira came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Intimos de Reynoso's Erez Marica. But to his dismay, Erez Marica quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
