ITAFUT 4EVER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valério Fernandes in the 36th minute. Gasteiz Obies thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Baiarte Cazares, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 1-1. When Guto de Castro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Gerber to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evair Palmeira to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Evair Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
