Fábio Alves's late challenge caught a A.A. Francana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Alves helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Os 11 garotos got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Alves. Wilson Cassia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilvan Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Wilson Cassia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francana booed when Os 11 garotos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Luizão Bocanegra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdo de Queirós. That made the score 0-1 in the 82 minute of play. William Cunha lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Os 11 garotos's William Cunha got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes in the game João Paulo Tande after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Valdo de Queirós. A very good opportunity. After 90 minutes of play, A.A. Francana's João Adolfo Leite made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdo de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Gustavo Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Os 11 garotos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A. Francana the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Os 11 garotos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Souza to maneuver through the defense. A.A. Francana played a much better game than Os 11 garotos and deserved their victory. The Os 11 garotos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
