Albino Ariando scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihăiţă Ştefulescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GoooooL's Mihăiţă Ştefulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Ariando in the 8th minute of play. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Albino Ariando came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Deportivo Pilar SDE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Ariando couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Muno's late challenge caught a GoooooL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Muno helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Pilar SDE getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ambrosio Muno hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as GoooooL's Marcel Molodețiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Rudolfo. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. When Ambrosio Muno was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. 19 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Pilar SDE:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sorin Marian shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Deportivo Pilar SDE getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Benigno Enekoitz hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Marcel Molodețiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Rudolfo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Benigno Enekoitz fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Pilar SDE's protests and gave Benigno Enekoitz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GoooooL booed when Deportivo Pilar SDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Sorin Marian could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Marcos Rudolfo however easily saved by the left post. In the 36th minute, Lucrețiu Istrătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Deportivo Pilar SDE booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Ivașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Şoimaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Molodețiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Marcel Molodețiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoooooL and the Deportivo Pilar SDE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Molodețiu in the 60th minute of play. The GoooooL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Marcos Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Molodețiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Paez during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julian Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Ferdinand Ivașcu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Deportivo Pilar SDE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
