The coaching staff of Karasuno protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Diego Pasqual had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Johan Dufrenne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rathmore Lime Tree's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Dufrenne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Favila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute of the match, Flavian Garcon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cecilio Favila saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramzi Roulleau got free with Cecilio Favila in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karasuno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johan Dufrenne was slow to take the kick. During this time Rathmore Lime Tree's players had a chance to rest. Rathmore Lime Tree's Alix Geoffray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Beti in the 19th minute of play. Brandon Pardon hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Karasuno's corner Omar Estebano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alix Geoffray quite easily take care of the ball. After 31 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Paul-Émile Brien. Alix Geoffray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Beti, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Beti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alix Geoffray was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Karasuno's Cecilio Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavian Garcon in the 41st minute of play. Cecilio Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavian Garcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Filomeno Beti made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Flavian Garcon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Karasuno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Estebano to maneuver through the defense. Rathmore Lime Tree made a substitution. Christophe Reibel replaced Bakary Guinaudeau. Omar Estebano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cecilio Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramzi Roulleau in the 74th minute of play. Karasuno's Cecilio Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramzi Roulleau in the 75th minute of play. Ariel Koldobika kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Rathmore Lime Tree were awarded a corner. Johan Dufrenne went to the cornerflag to take it. When Benoît Lamarre fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathmore Lime Tree's protests and gave Benoît Lamarre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Benoît Lamarre hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Karasuno's Fermin Estevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alix Geoffray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Omar Estebano made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aristides Rodas. If Flavian Garcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, Rathmore Lime Tree's Flavian Garcon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cecilio Favila was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rathmore Lime Tree had won after a very even match.
