Aníbal Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Benedicto Ireno made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 11th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yin Wei Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yin Wei Yi in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Dante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Innocenzio took the corner. Haroldo Dante came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Yin Wei Yi. But to his dismay, Yin Wei Yi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yin Wei Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Benedicto Ireno made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Aníbal Sá sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yin Wei Yi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Dante saved Clube Atl. Taquaritinga from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Yin Wei Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Yin Wei Yi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Varban Pavlikyanov in the 52nd minute of the match. Haroldo Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 54th minute. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Arthur Queraria with David Lima as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Sá in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Ireno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arthur Queraria got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by David Lima. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Queraria made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tarcisio Couto. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodosio Montes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haroldo Dante. That made the score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Arthur Queraria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's zone, Breno Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Ireno came out of the goal and Breno Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Loyola in the 84th minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes of play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Teodosio Montes made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Dante was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Teodosio Montes hit a great ball. A hard shot 92 in the game by Teodosio Montes from a close distance when the talented Haroldo Dante managed to make a qualified save. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's players were relieved. With 93 minutes on the clock, Ulryk Fikus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 93rd minute, Ulryk Fikus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
