With a little luck, AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio got control of the ball when Oriano Junco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Balesio having to interfere. NECKER49's Maximino Hitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Neto in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goalkeeper Rosendo Balesio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Jakobe. Maximino Hitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isa Adeleye in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oriano Junco got free with Rosendo Balesio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute NECKER49 were awarded a corner. Basilio Hegoi went to the cornerflag to take it. Rosendo Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Jakobe in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match NECKER49 got a corner. AC Rangers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basilio Hegoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38th minute Isa Adeleye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC Rangers getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Godofredo Basajaun hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Ortle came free, but Rosendo Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match NECKER49 got a corner. AC Rangers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Ortle got free with Rosendo Balesio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

AC Rangers's Emiliano Aznaro was substituted for Clodoveo Neto. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Aznaro made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match NECKER49 got a corner. AC Rangers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basilio Hegoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. NECKER49's Basilio Hegoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rosendo Balesio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Rangers's goalkeeper Rosendo Balesio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Francisco Jakobe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosendo Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Arias in the 63rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Isa Adeleye. NECKER49's Basilio Hegoi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AC Rangers. In the 76th minute, Sten Vallman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NECKER49 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rosendo Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Skytt in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Vallman came free, but Rosendo Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Raymundo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Maximino Hitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Rangers. Rosendo Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Rosendo Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Skytt in the 89th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Basilio Hegoi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rosendo Balesio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. For all the effort they put into the match, the AC Rangers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for NECKER49.
