With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezel Lobo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branislav Velchevski saved ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting behind. Lobo Bicherakhov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Francis went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Ezel Lobo came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Francis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ezel Lobo in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Branislav Velchevski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 58th minute, Enzo Da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Elpidio Francis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Lobo Bicherakhov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution.
