An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Kuch in the 15th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Lance Kuch made a precise shot to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Edmond Verdun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Terra got free with Clark Kent in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Dijoux in the 71st minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Errecaborda AFC's Clark Kent threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Prospero Jerardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
