Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. João Paulo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Sergipano charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Sergipano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Antunes in the 10th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Aparecido charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferson Aparecido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Jefferson Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes AF CERRADO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabinho Pereira who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to S.C. Reis United's Eduardo Gaspar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 28th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Varela to maneuver through the defense. João Paulo Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizinho Antunes went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of S.C. Reis United booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Amadeu Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Reis United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arí Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Gaspar in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Velloso saved AF CERRADO from getting behind. João Paulo Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The S.C. Reis United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AF CERRADO were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodriguinho de Toledo to make the kick off. Rodriguinho de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho de Toledo came free, but Gil Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho de Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodriguinho de Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Enio Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Enio Matorin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Gaspar in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Velloso saved AF CERRADO from getting behind. Gil Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Gil Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho de Toledo in the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AF CERRADO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
