Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206)
The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juan Fernando Pratto made the kick off which started today's match. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dani Hernández. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 3rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Sweden's Douglas Västberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Douglas Västberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sweden protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Douglas Västberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sweden's Birger Spetz was substituted for Daniel Löfgren. In the 4th minute, one of Sweden:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sweden. The goalkeeper, Isak Jacobsson, was totally fooled by Venezuela's Dagoberto Moreyre, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dani Hernández took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joacim Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Moreyre got free with Isak Jacobsson in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Sweden's goalkeeper Isak Jacobsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dagoberto Moreyre. Juan Fernando Pratto had several of the Sweden's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Isak Jacobsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Berg in the 27th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 29th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 34th minute of play. Sebastian Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dani Hernández having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Dani Hernández came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Sweden's Sebastian Käller. But to his dismay, Sebastian Käller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doug Traoré got free with Dani Hernández in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 57 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sweden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dani Hernández made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Åke Kinnman in the 69th minute. When Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Venezuela made a substitution. Thomas Edison replaced Cordarius Hornilla. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Isak Jacobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Moreyre in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Dagoberto Moreyre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Jacobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Kinnman came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Åke Kinnman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Dani Hernández made a huge save. Sweden's Isak Jacobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izel Ronaldo in the 78th minute of play. Isak Jacobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Moreyre in the 79th minute of play. Venezuela's Dani Hernández proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Åke Kinnman got free with Dani Hernández in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Kinnman in the 85th minute of the match. Isak Jacobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Moreyre, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Nils-Åke Kinnman made a precise shot to the right of Dani Hernández. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The Sweden players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Venezuela from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
