Nemesio Terciero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrézinho Pelé's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. With a little luck, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nemesio Terciero got control of the ball when Teobaldo Gaztea tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Pelé in the 10th minute of play forced ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalkeeper Nemesio Terciero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ATLETICO MENDOZA's zone, Andrézinho Pelé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Terciero came out of the goal and Andrézinho Pelé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Andrézinho Pelé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RB Chubut's Teobaldo Gaztea got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Andrézinho Pelé who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nemesio Terciero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ATLETICO MENDOZA getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Evaristo Casomiro hit a great ball. Nemesio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Gaztea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, ATLETICO MENDOZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. RB Chubut were furious when Maximiliano Bartoli was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 42 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Bartoli. Nemesio Terciero was a little too slow when Andrézinho Pelé got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0.

RB Chubut's Niles Moran was substituted for Andrézinho Pelé. RB Chubut made a substitution. Lázaro Quico replaced Rogelio Otsando. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Gentza was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Niles Moran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Terciero. ATLETICO MENDOZA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niles Moran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Nemesio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Niles Moran notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nemesio Terciero. Nemesio Terciero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Niles Moran came free, but Nemesio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when ATLETICO MENDOZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Gentza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Gaztea came free, but Nemesio Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, ATLETICO MENDOZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Sotil to maneuver through the defense. RB Chubut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabian Jerrald in the 76th minute. Paco Zamora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Ramirez in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Aquiles Guzman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paco Zamora. The goal made the score 3-1. RB Chubut's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
