PERSPOLIS's Dean Grieve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Salgado in the 10th minute of play forced Honkens Bengaler BK's goalkeeper William Vennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as PERSPOLIS's Facundo Feria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of William Vennersten. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 14th minute Facundo Feria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dean Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Dusett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Grieve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Dusett in the 20th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Honkens Bengaler BK's Samuel Dusett made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Grieve was left in no man's land by his defense there! William Vennersten came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Facundo Feria. But to his dismay, Facundo Feria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. William Vennersten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Carceles in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Karl-Oskar Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Feria in the 28th minute of play forced Honkens Bengaler BK's goalkeeper William Vennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honkens Bengaler BK's William Vennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekialde Nadal in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dean Grieve saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ekialde Nadal to make the kick off. After 76 minutes, Max Thrane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PERSPOLIS and the Honkens Bengaler BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Thrane to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frutos Barrios to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Emiliano Quintero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Vennersten. Honkens Bengaler BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Quintero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, PERSPOLIS could leave the field as winners, despite Honkens Bengaler BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
