Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cipriano Ganix started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Ferraris in the 7th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Dean Grieve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dean Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Frezza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Peridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Vettori came free, but Dean Grieve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cesate booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Salgado. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cipriano Ganix sped through Cesate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manolis Peridis. A nice corner shot did that Angelo Ferraris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dean Grieve quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dean Grieve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Vettori in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match, Ekialde Nadal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manolis Peridis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dean Grieve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Ferraris, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Fedele Colonna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PERSPOLIS the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Angelo Vettori made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Angelini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolis Peridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Carceles in the 51st minute of the match. Dean Grieve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Vettori's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Cesate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelo Ferraris in the 54th minute. Angelo Ferraris made a great header on Cesate's corner, it was just that PERSPOLIS's Dean Grieve managed to reach the ball for a save. Fedele Colonna hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ekialde Nadal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cesate's Manolis Peridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cipriano Ganix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Peridis having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Cipriano Ganix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PERSPOLIS made a substitution. Emiliano Quintero replaced Ekialde Nadal. PERSPOLIS's Facundo Feria was substituted for Cipriano Ganix. In the 70th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Ganix to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes of play, Cesate's Angelo Vettori made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Grieve was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Vettori in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Grieve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manolis Peridis came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Bela Herrero. But to his dismay, Bela Herrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cesate made a substitution. Kay Stormlund replaced Angelo Ferraris. Honorio Carceles's late challenge caught a Cesate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Carceles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Honorio Carceles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PERSPOLIS's Facundo Feria got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute of the match PERSPOLIS got a corner. Cesate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorio Carceles ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honorio Carceles made a great header on PERSPOLIS's corner, it was just that Cesate's Manolis Peridis managed to reach the ball for a save. Constantino Salgado's late challenge caught a Cesate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Constantino Salgado got a free kick in the 95th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. PERSPOLIS were victorious despite being under pressure from Cesate for much of the match.
