The Garanhão do SUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torcato Bentes should have stopped the shot. If Kelly Hopson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Henderson came free, but Torcato Bentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Lorenzo Whitehead reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Torcato Bentes. The goal made the score 3-1. Cameron Wiseman charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cameron Wiseman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cameron Wiseman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Torcato Bentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Whitehead in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, C. A. Garanhão do SUL's Torcato Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelly Hopson in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lucas Meireles hit a great ball. Cássio Madeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Clemente Armani made a huge save. After 66 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Whitehead. With an all-out effort, Garanhão do SUL's Clemente Armani threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Álvaro Calçada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Valadão during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamel Cronshagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match José Lousada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Armani showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gaspar Valadão hit a great ball. C. A. Pipon Pipon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
