Nereo Raymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nereo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gao Peng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papulote FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Čolak was slow to take the kick. During this time Northland Vikings's players had a chance to rest. Florencio Gonzo put his foot forward to block Papulote FC from scoring but unfortunatly he hit the ball so badly that it rolled just inside the left pole, an annoying self made goal. 3-0 in the 26th matchminute. Nereo Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After taking down the ball on Northland Vikings's corner Antonio Čolak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nereo Raymon quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40th minute, Gao Peng Ran made a precise shot to the right of Nereo Raymon. Papulote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papulote FC's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Northland Vikings made a substitution. Ralf Allgöwer replaced Mel Speerschneider. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Gonzo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jonatan Gerdberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Gonzo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Gonzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Papulote FC's Arnoldo Gonzo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jonatan Gerdberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Nereo Raymon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite this Nereo Raymon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Northland Vikings fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Northland Vikings's Ture Waller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Jordy during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Gao Peng Ran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Raymon was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Nereo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Peng Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Northland Vikings fully deserved thier win.
