After 11 minutes Scragbadun FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexander McCuag who took care of the corner kick. Andreas Fuchs made a great header on Clube Sporting Navuo's corner, it was just that Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva got control of the ball when Andreas Fuchs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Percy Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Ribeiro in the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Duarte got free with Percy Paiva in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Ingvar Wallin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joaquim Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martti Kukkur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Clube Sporting Navuo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th match minute, Scragbadun FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Severo to maneuver through the defense. Scragbadun FC's Percy Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton Ribeiro in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Araújo made a kick off. Yuri Freire's late challenge caught a Clube Sporting Navuo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Freire helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Scragbadun FC's Yuri Freire got a free kick in the 50th minute. Percy Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomé Araújo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Araújo got free with Joaquim Pombal in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Clube Sporting Navuo's Lino Eger got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Clube Sporting Navuo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Scragbadun FC for a fine match.
