The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rene Crescencio sped through FC Szczucin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Kosmatka. Julian Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Crescencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Crescencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Denílson Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariusz Drugi made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Bill Bill. FC Szczucin's Julian Kosmatka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Szczucin from getting a goal against them. Rene Crescencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julian Kosmatka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Crescencio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Rene Crescencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Bill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Kosmatka having to make a save. Rene Crescencio scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Kosmatka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julian Kosmatka made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Bill Bill sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Rene Crescencio took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Julian Kosmatka to make any attempt to save it. Rene Crescencio scored 5-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Kosmatka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rene Crescencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Medeiros during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The C.A Gryffindor fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when C.A Gryffindor's Rene Crescencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Edgard Mangueira replaced Bill Bill. Rene Crescencio scored 9-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Kosmatka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Herbert Czysty fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Szczucin's protests and gave Herbert Czysty a yellow card for diving instead. Herbert Czysty hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Julian Kosmatka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Oliveira went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Mauro Oliveira put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julian Kosmatka. C.A Gryffindor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
