Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Anísio Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Marek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özdemir Babayiğit having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Csongor Csorba to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Brack cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Özdemir Babayiğit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Richárd Lehoczky got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Csongor Csorba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Blizne's Andrzej Majusiak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Karol Balonek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Blizne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szajk LC the free kick. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when KS Blizne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Balonek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrzej Majusiak made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Csongor Csorba sent off a good shot on target. Jaroslaw Brack hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Richárd Lehoczky hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Szajk LC's Andrzej Majusiak threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Levente Makkai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
