In the 4th minute Draš Tič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Thunderstorm Riders booed when Szajk LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dávid Benkó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piotr Redisz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Özdemir Babayiğit. Szajk LC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignác Pucheli in the 12th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Konstanty Radzyminski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakub Lukowski kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Konstanty Radzyminski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Levente Makkai in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Konstanty Radzyminski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Lidon. Agustin Lidon's late challenge caught a Thunderstorm Riders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Lidon helped the player get up and apologised. 29 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Plachetka came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özdemir Babayiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Chazen in the 30th minute of the match. Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Lukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Benkó to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Richárd Lehoczky. After a rather tough play, Thunderstorm Riders's Jerzy Plachetka got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Csongor Csorba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özdemir Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Lukowski in the 56th minute of play. Szajk LC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Wieslaw Bury scored to the left of an out of position Özdemir Babayiğit, making the score, 0-2. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Edmund Konieczny replaced Borys Chazen. Szajk LC's Levente Csongrádi was substituted for Ede Szénási. Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Lukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Agustin Lidon came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Szajk LC fans jumped to their feet. Konstanty Radzyminski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csongor Csorba in the 82nd minute of the match. When Lajos Szuper fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szajk LC's protests and gave Lajos Szuper a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Szajk LC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lajos Szuper hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Plachetka to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Thunderstorm Riders had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
