The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Magnus Fastesson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Karl-Magnus Fastesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Tab, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Holger Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the RullaBoll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. RullaBoll's Jens-Erik Vestberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Restu in the 35th minute of play. Cremonese's Marcelino Sayvion was substituted for Desiderio Restu. Timmy Torstensson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes RullaBoll got a freekick which was hit by Isak Gustafsson. In the 47th minute Gilberto Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Vestberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jens-Erik Vestberg was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Marcelino Sayvion capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelino Sayvion really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Marcelino Sayvion's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jens-Erik Vestberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isak Gustafsson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes Cremonese got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Arias. Marcelino Sayvion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jens-Erik Vestberg made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cremonese eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
