The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kaspar Talts made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Matteo Mata immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Türkeş Akşit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Derman Soysaldı. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 17th match minute, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corné van Basten to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's Türkeş Uğuralp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derman Soysaldı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Andırın SK got a freekick which was hit by Naci Tansu. After 37 played minutes ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► got a freekick which was hit by Corné van Basten. In the 38th minute, Olaf Jarosz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derman Soysaldı was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Matteo Mata came free, but Farid Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Tenyo Tikvanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Soysaldı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Tenyo Tikvanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derman Soysaldı was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matteo Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Farid Mondragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matteo Mata's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Anton Scheupach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Farid Mondragon made a huge save. Derman Soysaldı came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Andırın SK's Batıhan Saik. But to his dismay, Batıhan Saik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Özkan İğdemir was substituted for Winnie Winger. Derman Soysaldı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Jarosz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Olaf Jarosz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derman Soysaldı was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Andırın SK's Farid Mondragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Andırın SK from getting a goal against them.
