Washington de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Sundborn IF's Kaloyan Mitashev in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Washington de Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren to a score. 0-3 in the 19th minute. Ted Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Kaloyan Mitashev notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara. Washington de Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kaloyan Mitashev scored 0-6 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Washington de Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Pero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. After the first half Sundborn IF were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Washington de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Tirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Ted Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Hacı Demirdelen made a precise shot to the right of Kalle Askberg. Sundborn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Tirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Washington de Lara. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars-Erik Pil got free with Washington de Lara in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Kaloyan Mitashev made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Washington de Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Washington de Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaloyan Mitashev's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Kaloyan Mitashev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kaloyan Mitashev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington de Lara was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Tirense F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sundborn IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
