After having played for 2 minutes, Gert Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Wickander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 4 minutes, Börje Frisk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAFFIAN and the Sundens BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Frisk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Bock kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Pete Sampras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundens BK's Marcus Vase was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gert Wickander hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Nils Bogren suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Mats Wilander kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Gernberg in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Vincent Linberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Vase. Sundens BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Linberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marcus Vase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Sampras, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marcus Vase made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Wilander in the 31st minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when MAFFIAN's Vincent Linberg in the 32nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Marcus Vase was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sundens BK through an amazing save. In the 33rd minute of the match MAFFIAN got a corner. Sundens BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Börje Frisk ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Börje Frisk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Vase quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 3-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Vincent Linberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 41 minutes, Andre Agassi made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sundens BK's Marcus Vase tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Wickander came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 45th minute of the match Mats Wilander completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mats Wilander a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Mats Wilander got a free kick in the 45th minute. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 54thth minute of the game Vincent Linberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundens BK's Marcus Vase was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Wickander in the 57th minute of play. Peder Gernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Alex Vallin replaced Östen Vennersten. When Pete Sampras fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Pete Sampras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Sampras to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Gert Wickander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aron Dahlbom, 4-1. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Agassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Gernberg in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Aspengren. Vincent Linberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Vase. Sundens BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andre Agassi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Marcus Vase came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's Pete Sampras. But to his dismay, Pete Sampras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 88th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Kilberg to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Vallin in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Vase saved Sundens BK from getting behind. MAFFIAN's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
