Norbert Gotfryd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience was convinced that Umberto Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Gotfryd was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 0-5 became the score in the 40th minute when Magno Pereira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wladyslaw Ruzicki was the one to do the kick off. KoLiber's Norbert Gotfryd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Eger in the 73rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Dionísio couldn't finish the play. Umberto Dionísio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Norbert Gotfryd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Umberto Dionísio in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Gotfryd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Eger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Gotfryd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Umberto Dionísio sped through KoLiber's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norbert Gotfryd.
