An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Nordström in the 27th minute of play forced Moose Knuckles's goalkeeper Valentas Bankauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Arne Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Börje Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentas Bankauskas having to interfere. Börje Sjöberg's late challenge caught a Moose Knuckles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Börje Sjöberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Börje Sjöberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Moose Knuckles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. spikarna were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agnius Malinauskas was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Vytaras Alčauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moose Knuckles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vytaras Alčauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vytaras Alčauskas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Samuel Enström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moose Knuckles. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnius Malinauskas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Enström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Moose Knuckles's Agnius Malinauskas in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye spikarna's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Adas Danauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Enström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bengt-Arne Forsberg took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentas Bankauskas. Valentas Bankauskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Moose Knuckles's Valentas Bankauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Moose Knuckles from getting a goal against them. Valentas Bankauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Andreasson in the 71st minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Forsberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 72nd playminute. Valentas Bankauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Nordström in the 77th minute of play. Jonas Nordström had several of the Moose Knuckles's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Valentas Bankauskas as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Börje Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentas Bankauskas was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Jonas Nordström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonas Nordström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 89th minute of the match Albinas Zelmikas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Enström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Gunnar Bäcklin got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 93 minutes of play, spikarna's Börje Sjöberg made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentas Bankauskas was left in no man's land by his defense there! spikarna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
