The IFK Kik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Håkan Botvidsson should have stopped the shot. Maksymilian Dudkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Håkan Botvidsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Lund to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes, Yelonki's Jakub Bobrowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Håkan Botvidsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yelonki reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Witold Mnich kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Håkan Botvidsson. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play.
