The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Walmarsson was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Bo Walmarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Håkan Botvidsson was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Walmarsson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Botvidsson saved IFK Kik from getting behind. After 87 minutes of play, IFK Kik's Fredric Lundström made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabien Lafont was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Fredric Lundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fabien Lafont was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verner Alkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Håkan Botvidsson. IFK Kik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. IFK Kik's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
