After 23 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Seco. Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Blomberg during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a left leg Håkan Botvidsson saved IFK Kik from getting behind. Vilhelm Martinsson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Benedito Mineiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Håkan Botvidsson skillfully saved the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Marcelo Eger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Håkan Botvidsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Castanheiro SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
