After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Delmar Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon McDonough came out of the goal and Delmar Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dillon McDonough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Fiz in the 12th minute of the match. Saul Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cameron Bliss in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Martxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hal Marks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Conrad Elliott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Internet XAire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 44th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Carmona to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Johnathan Valle replaced Tod Goss. With his leg Saul Martxel managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Conrad Elliott fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saul Oskarbi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Fresco to maneuver through the defense. Saul Oskarbi's late challenge caught a Racing Miami Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Oskarbi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Internet XAire's Saul Oskarbi got a free kick in the 64th minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saul Martxel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Internet XAire getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Remigio Eusko hit a great ball. Dillon McDonough came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Internet XAire's Rosendo Ugutz. But to his dismay, Rosendo Ugutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 72nd minute, Rosendo Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Rosendo Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Delmar Fresco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internet XAire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. Saul Martxel was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Conrad Elliott capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrad Elliott really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. When Jose Carnes fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Jose Carnes a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Rosendo Ugutz put it in 5-4 from a short distance just to the right of Dillon McDonough. Saul Martxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hal Marks in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Nicky Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Martxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
