In the 5th match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Dadá Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Cordarrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Clemente Pere received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomé Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Pere slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Clemente Pere kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomé Mota. That made the score 2-1 in the 16 minute of play. Baldomiro Cordarrel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Pinho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Cartero de Agronomia F.C. booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Agua Santa's Dadá Moura made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Cordarrel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Agua Santa booed when Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney da Mata to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Dunixi in the 45th minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Dunixi in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Agua Santa were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Sergio Eduino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agua Santa the free kick. After 56 played minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Eduino. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Dunixi in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Saverio Platon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. With a little luck, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Baldomiro Cordarrel got control of the ball when Dadá Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Dadá Moura scored to the left of an out of position Baldomiro Cordarrel, making the score, 3-4. The supporters of Agua Santa booed when Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance. If Saverio Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
